The Role:

Join us on a rewarding journey as a Branch Manager, specialising in Trades & Industrial recruitment, in Canberra. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and mentor a team of three consultants, driving performance, capability, and team growth. You’ll play a hands-on role in developing local client partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing GP.

Your leadership will be instrumental in setting and executing strategic goals, creating a collaborative environment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations including compliance across payroll, WHS, and internal processes. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, blue-collar recruitment environment and is passionate about building strong teams and strong portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a key client portfolio across the Canberra region

  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of three consultants

  • Support consultants with business development and lead generation

  • Drive compliance with internal policies and external legislation

  • Champion high standards in service, safety, and performance

  • Identify training needs and support team development plans

 

About You

  • 2–5 years’ experience in agency recruitment leadership (Trades, Industrial or similar sectors)

  • Proven success in leading teams and driving performance outcomes

  • Strong business development skills and industry relationships in the Canberra market

  • Confident with reporting, forecasting, and risk/compliance management

  • Adaptable, hands-on, and commercially minded
