about the Internal Communications Team

The Internal Communications Team sits in the Global Transformation Office. The team exists to support the growth of Randstad Enterprise by inspiring everyone to work as one unified team. We empower leaders to manage change confidently and keep communication flowing across the business. We focus on exceptional delivery by making communications more visible, data-driven, and impactful in our role as trusted advisors. 

Our goals are focused on: inspiring and engaging the business in the vision and strategy as one specialization; connecting, empowering and engaging leaders to support knowledge sharing, lead the change and adapt a Randstad mindset; reduce siloed communications; and improve visibility of communications as a strategic advisor with demonstrable impact. 

 

role purpose

The Global Internal Communications Business Partner plays an integral part in shaping, implementing and evaluating the global internal communication strategy. The role includes working with Randstad Group to ensure global communications campaigns are activated within Randstad Enterprise; developing and delivering global communications campaigns to support Randstad Enterprise’s strategic initiatives and transformation agenda; overseeing our leadership forum strategy to ensure we connect, equip and support leaders to manage change and cascade communications effectively; and business partnering with leaders to support on internal communications which are aligned with our global communication operating rhythm and communications calendar. 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Randstad Group’s communications team to ensure global projects and campaigns are captured in our Internal Communications Calendar and activated across our channels
  • Developing, managing, delivering and evaluating global internal communications projects and campaigns to support Randstad Enterprise’s strategic initiatives and transformation plan
  • Developing and publishing compelling content including emails, articles, slides, video and photography
  • Lead our Leadership Forum to ensure we connect, equip and support leaders to manage change and cascade communications effectively. This will include understanding their needs; developing agendas content, resources and toolkits which meet those needs; being the point of content and host for the sessions; enabling virtual collaboration; and gauging usefulness and impact
  • Serving as an internal communications business partner to senior leaders, understanding their internal communications needs and goals; developing and delivering plans, toolkits and resources  to meet those needs and goals; measuring and monitoring impact; using the data and insights to advise on performance and future planning; and offering consultative training sessions on communication skills and tools 
  • Leveraging analytics to gain insights into employee engagement with internal communications and campaigns to gauge performance and inform future planning 
  • Lead the organisation, delivery and evaluation of our annual strategy kick-off festival, including agenda setting; briefing speakers; content creation; and internal promotion 
  • Mastering our internal communications tools including email communications platforms (Contact Monkey), intranet (connect), collaborative tools (Figjam), global video conferencing tools (webex), content and design creation tools (canva) to create quality, branded and compelling content 
  • Leveraging AI to support your day to day work 
  • Leading and managing an Internal Communications Specialist (subject to a review of the team’s role and structure)

 

what you will bring:

  • Significant experience in communications and /or marketing roles
  • Copywriting experience for a range of audiences 
  • Experience of building, implementing and evaluating successful internal communications plans
  • Demonstrable experience of developing content including emails, articles, slides, video and  photography
  • Excellent command of English 
  • Solid experience of owning, delivering and evaluating projects involving others
  • Solid experience of using internal communications tools including email marketing / communications platforms; intranets; design and video production tools; and collaboration tools
  • Evidence of business partnering with or owning relationships with senior leaders to plan, deliver and evaluate communications plans
  • Knowledge and experience of using AI to support own work 
  • Comfortable with social platforms
  • Highly proficient in in translating complex information into visually attractive slides
  • Positive, professional, with the ability to thrive in a global environment with a Get-it-done attitude.
