Purpose of the Role

 

We are seeking a French- and English-speaking Team Leader to join our GBS MSP department in Budapest. This is a replacement role and you will be responsible for managing a large team looking after French accounts.

 

This position requires strong people management and process management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, particularly with French clients. The Team Leader will ensure operational excellence, team performance, and continuous process improvement within our MSP program.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

People Management

  • Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 professionals based in Budapest.
  • Monitor KPIs, provide regular feedback, and manage performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and engaged team culture.
  • Support professional development and training for team members.

 

Process Management

  • Oversee day-to-day MSP operations, ensuring adherence to processes, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of MSP systems, workflows, and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative and reporting tasks.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for French accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term, productive relationships with French stakeholders.
  • Navigate cultural nuances to foster trust and effective communication.
  • Proactively identify and address stakeholder needs, offering solutions and improvements.

 

Operational Responsibilities

  • Manage a workload that is approximately 80% proactive (attending calls, connecting with stakeholders, presenting, participating in meetings) and 20% administrative tasks.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with internal departments and cross-functional teams.
  • Represent the MSP team in meetings and presentations as needed.



Candidate Profile

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in French (C1 level or above) and English.
  • Proven people management experience (1–2+ years) in an international environment.
  • Strong process management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management at different levels.
  • Decision-making ability and confidence to work independently.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and business writing skills.

 

Desirable

  • Experience within MSP environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in large, international companies.
  • Understanding of French business culture and ability to build relationships with French stakeholders.
